We are holding an Open Texas Scramble once again at the Shian Course. Entry to the competition is £40 per team which includes coffee and a bacon roll before you start.
Get your pals together and come and play our stunning course and enjoy our uninterrupted views of the Trossachs and Campsie Hills.
Please note that the junior section is holding their final session including prizegiving at the clubhouse on Sunday 4 Oct. This means that there will be juniors and young ClubGolfers on the course at holes 1, 2, and 3 on that day teeing off from 2.30pm.
The course is not closed for this, but please beware that the juniors will need to walk back from 3rd green across practice fairway and down the side of the first so the extra vigilance of any members playing in that area on Sunday afternoon would be appreciated.
There is also a ladies competition at the usual time followed by a large visiting party teeing off at 11 am, so it is a busy day on the course.

The unfortunate and unavoidable postponing of both the Anniversary Day competition and the Masters Open Texas Scramble due to the weather has meant some adjustments to our fixtures in August.
The Anniversary Day will be played now on Saturday 15th August – booking will re-open two weeks in advance of that.
The Masters Open Texas Scramble is rescheduled to Saturday 22nd of August and the organising committee hope that most players will be able to make that new date. Booking arrangements to follow.
